The goal of the project is to Provide a day stay for disabled people of groups 1 and 2 (combined disorders) living in the Baranovichi district of the Brest region.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Project objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n

development of abilities, interests and work skills of disabled people that ensure the realization of their potential employment opportunities;<\/p>\n

assistance to persons with disabilities in developing and restoring self-service skills and preparing for independent living;<\/p>\n

conducting classes with disabled people taking into account their individual characteristics, including at home, in accordance with the visiting schedule and the requirements of the individual rehabilitation program;<\/p>\n

involvement of disabled people in various forms of social life, creative activities, physical culture and recreation activities, taking into account available opportunities.<\/p>\n

Target group:<\/strong> disabled people of working age groups 1 and 2 of the Baranovichi district (combined disorders) who attend the day care Department for the disabled.<\/p>\n

Brief description:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– adaptation to work;<\/p>\n

– training of specialists (seminars, trainings) on working with people with disabilities;<\/p>\n

– organization of field work (visits by people with disabilities to other departments of the Republic, excursions, cultural events);<\/p>\n

– maintenance of premises for the opening of an additional day care Department for the disabled in Baranovichi (equipment of bathrooms for wheelchair users, repair of premises);<\/p>\n

– purchase of special vehicles “Social taxi” equipped with a lift and mounts for transporting wheelchair users;<\/p>\n

– purchase of equipment, furniture (for the recreation room and the meal room), video equipment and computer equipment for the involvement of disabled people in creative and cognitive activities.<\/p>\n
