4. Company information State educational establishment “Yelsk Secondary school №1” was built in 1966 and designed for 964 students. The development of the school is focused on the construction and content of the cultural and educational space, which will maximally contribute to the formation of a fully developed and cultural personality of the student and his self-determination. The educational institution closely cooperates with such organizations for the purpose of educating students as: institution “Yelsk Children’s Youth Sports School of the Regional Organization of the Trade Union of Workers of  agricultural workers”, State educational and sports institution “Yelsk district children and youth sports school”, State Cultural Institution “Kolos” etc. Students of educational institutions actively participate in sports competitions of various levels.

11. Brief description and the aim of the project Creating conditions for the physical development of children and adults Attracting investment.
12. Project goals 1. To create conditions for the comprehensive development of the students by strengthening the material-technical base of the State educational establishment “Yelsk Secondary school №1” namely (to reconstruct the track and field running track, track for throwing    the ball, the runway in the sector for the long jump, an integrated platform for volleyball, basketball, replace sports equipment).

2. To attract young people and students of the Yelsk district to regular physical education and sports, in particular athletics, volleyball, basketball, football.
13. Detailed description of the project activities in accordance with the assigned tasks This project is designed to focus students and young people on a healthy lifestyle, joint creative work and an active life position.    The project “From school sports to Olympic heights” will help to develop the physical    and spiritual beginnings of the younger generation, to make health, harmony           and beauty a part of the life of our children. Target program for the reconstruction of the sports stadium:

• Complex playground for volleyball, basketball (332 sq. m.)

• Running tracks (900 sq. m.)

• Running track in the throwing sector (54 sq. m.)

• Running track in the long jump sector (84 sq. m.)

• Children’s playground (450 sq. m.)

 
14. Project background Residents of the city of Yelsk are concerned about the health of both their own and the health of the younger generation.

The sports stadium provides an opportunity to ideally combine active recreation and a positive mood.

Reconstruction of the sports stadium will motivate students to regularly engage in physical culture and sports, create in them an idea of ​​health as a value in life, and allow the prevention of deviant behavior. The project “From School Sports to Olympic Heights” will help develop the physical and spiritual principles of the younger generation, make health, harmony and beauty a part of the life of our children.

The youth of the city are very fond of sports. The gym in the institution is open daily until 20.00. But the guys can only play football, basketball, volleyball. Although the school grounds allow for more modern sports such as tennis, athletics.
15. Post-project  activities The reconstruction of the sports stadium will expand the network of associations of interests, sports sections and will give the opportunity to take the evening leisure of young people. This project is designed to focus students and young people on a healthy lifestyle, joint creative work.
