7. Objectives of the project: creating conditions for physical exercises, sports, maintaining health, instilling healthy lifestyle skills among students of different age and health groups through the upgrading and equipping of the inclusive school stadium. Creating conditions for physical culture and healthy lifestyle of residents of the Uruchye district when organizing leisure activities.
8. Tasks to be implemented within the framework of the project:

– Change the infrastructure of the gymnasia sports and recreational environment.

– Create favourable conditions for physical education, sports, leisure and recreation for students.

– Contribute to the formation of a sustainable interest in regular working out and sports.

– Promote active types of physical culture and sports activities and a healthy lifestyle.

– Contribute to the socialization of students through the organization of sports events and competitions.

– Promote various sports (football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, hockey, etc.) that take into account the interests of children during the school year and holidays.

– Equipping and improving the sports base in accordance with modern safety and comfort requirements.

– Promote inclusive education from the earliest age of students and children of the district through physical education and sports.

– To promote physical culture and healthy lifestyle of residents of the microdistrict when organizing leisure activities.
9. Target group: children and adolescents aged 6 to 18, students of the gymnasia and adjacent residential buildings.
10. Brief description of project activities:

1. Development of design estimates for the upgrading and equipping of school stadium.

2. Carrying out work on changing the infrastructure of the gymnasia sports and recreation environment:

arranging a multifunctional fenced area with a synthetic surface for volleyball, basketball, mini-football, athletics, equipping the school stadium with sports equipment, outdoor exercise equipment, arranging a synthetic covering for an athletics treadmill, manufacturing and installation of a gymnasia, installation of a hockey rink with a synthetic surface of the area. Installation of a ground for workout and gorodki sports.

3. Inauguration of the stadium, holding a sports festival “Gymnasium – a territory for sports.”

12. Our achievements:

Students of the state educational institution “Minsk Gymnasia No. 2” took the third place (out of 14) in the 75th Sports days of the students of the Pervomaisky district of Minsk in the 2020/2021 academic year) in the category of educational institutions of over 400 students. Of particular note is the 1st place in the “Schooliad”, 1st place among boys, 2nd place among girls in athletics competitions, 1st place among girls in table tennis competitions, 3rd place in “Snow Sniper” competitions.
