4. Project goals:

 

Providing a set of conditions conducive to preserving and strengthening the health of children with disabilities, including children with severe and (or) multiple physical and (or) mental developmental disorders, in the process of organizing summer rehabilitation and sharing a family holiday with their parents at the State Educational Instution “Stationary health camp “Nacha-Kletsk”
5. Project оbjectives: – to strengthen the material and technical base in buildings No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, No. 4;

– to carry out repairs in the dining room, kitchen, assembly hall, medical unit, summer amphitheater;

– to expand the list of equipment for equipping the playground, taking into account the needs of disabled children;

– create a barrier-free environment for the stay of children with disabilities: equip a parking lot for parking a specially-equipped car, ramps and handrails;

– equip an active recreation area in the lake area;

– organize work in the media to highlight the health of children in this category and their families, to popularize the ideas of social integration of children with special needs;

-organize the rehabilitation of disabled children and their parents together with healthy peers;

– create conditions for self-realization, the development of creative abilities, the formation of children with disabilities development of positive life skills in an informal setting.

6. Target group: Disabled children with peculiar psychophysical development, children with severe and (or) multiple physical and (or) mental developmental disorders, their parents.
7. Brief description of the humanitarian project:

 

The project is a system of measures to create a set of conditions conducive to the preservation and strengthening of the health of children with disabilities, including children with severe and (or) multiple physical and (or) mental disorders of development in the process of organizing summer rehabilitation;
7.1. preparation and approval of design estimates;7.2. strengthening the material and technical base in buildings No. 1, No. 2, No. 3, No. 4;

7.3. repair in the canteen, catering, assembly hall, medical unit, summer amphitheater;

7.4. expanding the list of equipment for equipping the playground to meet the needs of children with disabilities;

7.5. parking equipment for parking a specially-equipped car;
7.6. equipment recreation areas near the lake.

8. Total amount of financing

55 555 (in US dollars)
Donor funds – 50 000 (in US dollars)

Co-financing – 5 555 (in US dollars)

9. Expected result: – changing stereotypes and attitudes towards people with peculiarities in the local community;

– support for people with special needs in expanding access to a different range of social services;

– psychological support for families and relatives to create a favorable microclimate in the family and society, the organization of their joint rest;

– expanding the range of interaction in the cultural, leisure and sports activities of children with disabilities and their healthy peers;
– coverage and propaganda in regional mass media of examples of successful socialization of persons with disabilities.
